Land Surveying

Mulkey, Inc. has provided land surveying and GPS services for a broad range of projects including roadway design, municipal engineering, route location surveys, commercial and residential design, ALTA Land Title Surveys, military projects, construction stakeout and GIS data collection. Our Geomatics group has demonstrated the ability to provide various state departments of transportation with quality surveying and SUE services.

Mulkey’s survey crews are equipped with state of the art surveying equipment and technology. This allows our crews to be more efficient by reducing time spent in the field. Our offices can provide survey data and final maps in a variety of digital formats, including AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Mulkey’s survey department employs GPS Virtual Reference Station (VRS) technology. This technology allows a network of fixed reference stations to synthesize “virtual” reference stations for every surveyor in the region, providing centimeter accuracy. By eliminating the need to set up a reference station, survey crews save time and the expense of a second receiver. This new approach is radically improving productivity and measurement quality.

Our land surveying and Geomatics staff consists of more than 50 employees, including professional land surveyors, survey technicians, SUE analysts and field staff. Mulkey Engineers & Consultants has professional surveyors licensed to practice in more than 10 states.
