Valoree Eikinas Broadcasts Her Story as One of Business Leader’s Women Extraordinaire

Raleigh, NC—Aug. 22, 2011— As the third guest on Business Leader Radio’s new program for Women Extraordinaire, Valoree Eikinas, PE, Principal and Director of Building Structures and Land Development, shared her insights on business leadership and the engineering/design industry along with keys to achieving her current success  at Mulkey Engineers & Consultants. During the hour-long interview, Valoree thoughtfully discussed her professional background and career, industry issues and trends as well as Mulkey’s accomplishments and future outlook.

“Nothing drives innovation more than challenge,” said Valoree. These words have become her mantra, more important now than ever during trying economic times. Valoree added her advice on maintaining success despite economic challenges, reminding companies and businesses to “be persistent, build relationships, maintain a strong trust with your clients, and most importantly, be proactive, creative problem solvers.”

Valoree earned the honor as a guest on Business Leader’s Radio program after winning the 2010 Women Extraordinaire Award for the Triangle region. The award recognizes influential female business leaders with an extraordinary impact on
their company or business’s economic success and forward-thinking strategies. Award winners are involved in professional organizations and associations related to their industries. They are also active in their communities by
promoting philanthropic organizations or causes along with mentoring and setting positive examples for other women in business.
