Benefits
At Mulkey, we greatly appreciate our employees and show it by offering a broad range of traditional and innovative employee benefits. All benefits are available to full-time employees and to part-time employees where noted. Most benefits are effective after 30 days of employment.
Medical
Participating Provider Option (PPO) health, vision and prescription plan with a health reimbursement account (HRA) to reimburse expenses incurred while reaching the deductible.
Dental
Separate from the medical plan coverage. The plan allows you to go to the dentist of your choice with various levels of service reimbursement.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow employees to deposit a portion of their gross income pre-tax into a spending account used to pay for medical, dental and vision expenses as well as daycare expenses.
Wellness Program
This voluntary health promotion program helps employees understand, adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles. Activities, incentives and a variety of programs are provided to assist employees in maintaining emotional, financial and physical well-being.
401(k) Plan
Employees can contribute pre-tax or post-tax up to the maximum allowed amount by law. These contributions cannot be forfeited. Vesting of Mulkey, Inc. contributions is based on years of service. Rollovers are allowed from prior plans. All part-time and full-time permanent employees are able to participate after 30 days.
Disability
Short-term and long-term disability insurance is provided.
Life Insurance
A life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment policy with $50,000 of coverage is provided. Employees also have the opportunity to purchase supplemental life insurance.
Employee Assistance Program
Employees and their family members have access to confidential, individual assistance for a wide range of personal and work-related issues.
Bonus Program
Performance incentives are available to reward employees for superior individual performance. Also, employees are encouraged to recommend friends for open positions and are rewarded with a referral bonus if the person is hired and remains more than 90 days.
Personal Leave
After 90 days of employment, an employee can begin to use accrued personal leave. An employee may carry over a maximum of 1 ½ times his annual personal leave to the following year.
Paid Holidays
Eight designated holidays and one floating holiday is given.
Paid Bereavement Leave
Up to three days off without loss of pay to prepare for or attend the funeral of a member of your immediate family is provided.
Paid Jury Duty
Leave is given to anyone called. Mulkey pays for a maximum of one week of jury duty.
Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave
Employees receive up to five paid days for the birth or adoption of a child.
Paid Volunteer Time
We encourage our employees give back to their communities. Each employee is offered up to eight hours annually for volunteer service.
Professional Development Assistance
Support for professional and educational activities, which enhance our staff’s expertise and communication with other professionals in the industry. We offer paid participation in technical and professional societies and also strive to keep our employees trained in the most up-to-date technologies.
Employees can apply for financial assistance to support an academic degree program.
Flexible Work Schedule
Flexibility in work schedules as projects and conditions permit. Management approval is required.
