Mulkey staffers Rob Larson, Ron Flory and Julie Gibson headed the company's efforts in the 2003 and 2004 Street Painting Festival, an annual event that supports the Visual Arts Exchange. In other arts-related community activities, Barbara Mulkey, president of the firm, served as honorary chairman of First Night 2003/04, an alcohol-free celebration held in downtown Raleigh each year.
